How It Started?
Since June this year India and China are having a hard time at the
international border near Kashmir valleys. In the same month about 20 Indian
soldiers were martyred. This caused a huge spark in India to boycott China
and the Chinese brands and products. The Indian Government on the other hand
banned about 59 Chinese Apps saying they are stealing data of Indian Users.
Tik Tok was the most talked app then, which was one of the Apps which was
banned along with the other 58 Apps. One section of India was completely
upset with Tik Tok due to their cringe worthy content, while the other
section enjoyed the App.
Ever since Tik Tok was banned our beloved Guruji was on cloud nine. He
couldn't hold back his happiness so much so that he created multiple videos
showing his happiness on the said ban. In one of the videos he even printed
few logos of some Chinese apps along with Tik Tok, threw them on a road and
cleaned them with a broom and threw those prints in a dust bin. He made
another video where he had all Chinese brand phones on his desk. He
installed Tik Tok on all those phones and later deleted them. We really
don't understand why he pulled off these kinds of stunts or rather what
exactly he wanted to prove. He even urged his subscribers and followers to
delete these apps and support the country. He even at multiple times gave
news about how Tik Tok was degrading with its star ratings on Google play
store, indirectly indicating his fans to rate 1 star for Tik Tok on play
stores.
He didn't hold back there, he made another Video and pledged that he will never promote any Chinese brand phones or China made products on his channel (no one asked him to do so).
It didn't take a lot longer for our Guruji to comeback with multiple other
brand promotions. He unboxed Vivo, Oppo, Huawei, One Plus and Realme brand
phones. Except for taking indirect digs at Xiaomi at multiple occasions
while keeping their products on his desk and not unboxing them while telling
his subscribers that he doesn't feel like unboxing the product. In this case
it was the newly launched Xiaomi Laptop.
So, is he an Opportunist or a Hypocrite?
We believe he is a hypocrite because despite those promises he made on his channel which nobody asked for he is targeting only specific Chinese brand however is still promoting the other Chinese brands on his channel. The very recent being the One Plus Nord phone which he was seen promoting on his channel.
Why we think he is an opportunist?
Taking advantage of the then situation between Indian and China he pulled of the above explained stunts. We still didn't know why exactly he did that considering he has those millions and millions of fans subscribed to him.
With these kinds of stunts, he garnered views in millions and surely earned pretty well. Also, while creating opportunity for himself to promote more products in the future of Chinese brands.
There are many subscribers who follow and listen to Guruji; however, the subscribers are equally opportunist and hypocrites too. Our Guruji very lovingly arranges giveaways on his channels. There are certain criteria to be met for the subscribers to win the give aways, like subscribing his channel, giving a like, share, comment and follow on Instagram. The subscribers are literally begging to get the give away from Guruji in the comments section. You may pick any of the giveaway video and check the comments section, literally everyone is begging for that giveaway. Doesn't even matter if the giveaway is of a Chinese brand phone.
We just want to urge our Guruji, please stop being a hypocrite and an opportunist. If you can't do it please don't commit and show off unnecessary things. We also through this blog would like to urge our readers to follow some good channels which aren't so biased and create opportunity based on the current and ongoing situations.
Note: We are not promoting any Chinese brands here, or rather any brand. We are just calling out based on our observations.
